Questions your website content needs to answer

3 questions your website absolutely needs to answer

Here’s the deal…

Your website is the FAQ sheet.

True, you might actually require a formal FAQs page. At the same time, remember that your website is the hub people flock to in order to get some very important questions answered.

They basically want to know three things:

  1. What you do

  2. How you do it

  3. How they can be a part of it

Let’s dive deeper, shall we?

To guide you when planning out your content, here are some questions that need answers on your website.

What do you do ?

This is where you are giving your audience the run down. When you’re in this phase, you’re probably describing you services and who benefits from them, too.

I want to come to your website and it be clear that you groom baby kittens, or decorate XL Christmas trees, or fix those darn radiators in cars that keep breaking.

Make it plain what it is you do and how you do it.

How do you do it?

This is where you want to show off your work. Get creative! How many different ways can you show what you’ve accomplished? Will pictures and videos do? Do you have testimonials? What else shows how your service or product helps your customers?

How can I work with you?

Now that your audience has seen what you do and how you do it, OF COURSE they want to work with you!

Make it easy for folks to work with you. Lay out those steps plainly so they know exactly what to do next when working with you.

These three questions might seem like a short list, and that’s on purpose.

Keep your content as simple as possible when starting out.

It’s easy to think of everything that can possibly live on your website. And then, those thoughts can become overwhelming.

Reel yourself back.

It’s unlikely that your customer’s entire journey takes place on your website. Think instead about the fewest things your audience needs to know in order to take the next step.

Did this get your creative juices flowing? If so, cheers!
