Where to display your social content on your website

“Social and your website sittin’ in a tree…”

While your social content is engaging (obvi), it’s already done the heavy lifting of getting visitors to your website. Don’t distract them with your eye-catching reels and encourage them to go back to your social site.

Yes, you wanna show them something familiar. And sure, you want to reiterate that the website the user has happened upon is indeed your website. Just be strategic on how you display your social content.

Keep social content low on the website… like the bottom… after any and everything that’s important. Or, move your social off to the margins. Again, keep it low on the page, below the fold.

Focus instead on creating original website content that supports and complements your voice on social. Honestly, truly, it should be the other way around. But the way 20xx is set up, a lot of y’all are making your social pages first before even making landing page.

I’m not judging. I’m just saying.

See ya next week!
